FoodChain ID understands the essential role our testing services provide to the global food chain on any given day, but especially during this trying time with COVID-19 spreading worldwide.
Following up on the letter from our CEO earlier today, I’d like to share some of the steps we’re taking to continue to support our customers and maintain business continuity.
We’re pleased to report that our laboratories remain fully operational. Our priority is to continue to serve our customers while ensuring that our employees are safe. FoodChain ID has implemented the following additional preventive measures:
- Enhanced cleaning procedures in all our laboratories
- Minimized direct contact
- Transitioned all non-laboratory staff to remote workforce
- Implemented travel restrictions
We will continue to undertake every effort to ensure testing turn-around times and/or expedited options are not affected, and you should expect the same level and quality of service. Our technical advisors and customer service representatives are available to answer any questions during our regular business hours.
